Rabbit at War wurde Anfang 2010 von Christian „Rabbit“ Wyzinski als Dark-Electro-Projekt gegründet.
Im Oktober 2010 stieß Nicolai „F. F. Ummler“ S. zu Rabbit at War dazu. Ursprünglich als Unterstützung für Liveauftritte und Backing-Vocals gedacht, fand F. F. Ummler schnell Interesse am Programming und bereits kurze Zeit später wurden die ersten Tracks gemeinsam produziert.
